December fishing can be absolutely amazing or very tough, and with the recent cold front this has made it very hard to find active largemouth. In the next coming weeks the weather looks to be going in the right direction. Next full moon should bring a huge wave of spawning bass, look for sandy areas, and anywhere there is hard cover. Use lures such as weightless senkos, trick worms, chatterbait, texas rigged creature baits, and ned heads! Other smart places to look during this transition is deeper lillie pads. Make sure you find areas with a clean bottom, and target them with texas rigs. Missile Bait DBombers are a great choice! Now get out there and catch a fish of a LIFETIME!
